LIT

A Leader in Training

Dedicating my summer to being an assistant to counselors and kids at a local summer camp.

Hi, my name is Gyubin Kim…

I am 17 years old and a Senior at North Hollywood High School. I love socializing, listening to music, and being in a busy environment. I am inspired by my peers, but specifically my mom. She is the most selfless, strong woman that I know which makes me prioritize the value of giving back, being kind, and always lending a hand. On a personal level, my personality is mirrored at school where I am part of the Student Council which has helped me develop leadership skills and better time management. Additionally, being a Cheerleader has trained me to be more extroverted and be a different type of leader during the Friday night lights. Leadership is an essential skill to prioritize, leading me to spend my summer time as a LIT at Destination Science Summer Camp. All of these experiences and opportunities has driven me to create my non-profit organization. With my fellow friend, we have created the Sharing With Freedom Non-Profit Organization.
